FITT’s Green Tech & Mobility Mixer, held at Draper House in Hyderabad, marked the unveiling of two groundbreaking initiatives aimed at supporting startups and their visionary founders.
The first of these initiatives is the “Green Tech Accelerator 2024,” designed to cater to MVP-stage startups operating within the domains of ClimateTech, Renewable Energy, AgriTech, CleanTech, and related sectors. In a collaborative effort, FITT (Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer), SIDBI, and ReNew Power have come together to launch this accelerator program. The Green Tech Accelerator 2024 offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including active mentoring, grants, equity funding, and access to a unique platform designed to facilitate the scaling of ventures to unprecedented heights.
The second significant announcement at the event was the “Sona Comstar IIT Delhi Innovation Program.” This pioneering initiative aligns with the pursuit of a cleaner and more sustainable future by extending support to startups engaged in innovative projects related to Battery Chemistry, EV Cell Recycling, and Retrofitting Solutions.
The Green Tech & Mobility Mixer took place on December 27 and witnessed the participation of startup founders, innovators, and venture funders. The event provided an ideal platform for the introduction of these initiatives, emphasizing their importance in driving innovation and growth within the green tech and mobility sectors.
The Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), an esteemed industry interface organization affiliated with IIT Delhi, played a central role in facilitating these announcements. FITT actively manages the incubator program at IIT Delhi, further solidifying its commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within the region.
These initiatives hold the promise of catalyzing transformative developments within the green tech and mobility landscape, fostering sustainability, and bolstering India’s position as a hub for pioneering technological advancements.
