Cupertino- 10th September, 2025: Apple on Tuesday unveiled its latest line-up of devices, headlined by the brand-new iPhone Air, a slimmer and lighter model featuring a high-density battery and touted as the company’s most durable and thinnest iPhone yet. Alongside it, Apple also introduced the iPhone 17, powered by the all-new A19 processor, and refreshed versions of its Apple Watch and AirPods Pro. The iPhone 17 brings major upgrades to Apple’s flagship smartphone.
The new A19 chip is built using 3-nanometer technology, making it the most advanced processor in an iPhone. This smaller manufacturing process allows the chip to deliver higher performance while consuming less power, enabling faster multitasking, smoother graphics, and longer battery life. Apple highlighted that the A19 is specifically optimized for on-device artificial intelligence, allowing users to experience smarter predictive text, real-time translation, improved Siri responses, and faster photo and video enhancements — all without relying heavily on cloud processing. The iPhone 17 also debuts a brighter, scratch-resistant display and a redesigned front-facing camera sensor for sharper selfies, especially in horizontal shots. The base 256 GB model is priced at ₹82,900. Meanwhile, the spotlight of the event was on the iPhone Air, which Apple described as its boldest reimagining of the iPhone design.
With a slimmer profile and a reinforced build, it is engineered to be both ultra-portable and highly durable. The high-density battery ensures all-day usage without compromising the device’s lightweight design. In wearables, Apple introduced its latest Apple Watch with a built-in blood pressure monitor, expanding its focus on health tracking. Notably, Apple kept the pricing of its watch models unchanged this year. The company also launched the AirPods Pro 3, a significant leap in wireless audio technology. The new earbuds feature live translation of languages, enabling near real-time translated conversations when both participants wear them. They also double the active noise cancellation compared to the previous generation, yet remain priced at $249.
The AirPods Pro 3 will be available starting September 19. Apple’s latest launches underscore its broader strategy of blending cutting-edge hardware with AI-driven experiences. By pushing boundaries with 3-nanometer chip technology, enhancing health features in wearables, and integrating AI into everyday interactions like translation, Apple is positioning itself not just as a device maker, but as a pioneer in the next era of personalized, intelligent computing.
