Hyderabad, 11 July 2025 — The Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India), Hyderabad Centre, has kicked off a two-day national conference focused on “Next-Gen Highrise Buildings – Advancements in Composite and Steel Structures” at the ESCI Campus, Centenary Convention Centre, Gachibowli. The event, running on 11 and 12 July, aims to explore the future of urban vertical development and sustainable infrastructure.
The inaugural session was graced by Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for IT, Electronics & Industries, Government of Telangana. Key dignitaries included Mr. Rajkumar Kacharla, President South and Vice President, ACCE(I), Mr. Er. Kashiram Adepu, Immediate Past Chairman and Governing Council Member, ACCE(I) Hyderabad Centre, Mr. Er. Bheem Rao Jaligama, Vice-Chairman and In-Charge Chairman, Mr. Er. C. Ramesh, Hon. Secretary, and Mr. Sudhakar, Co-option Member.
Bringing together nearly 800 participants from across India, the conference serves as a knowledge-sharing platform for civil engineers, architects, developers, urban planners, researchers, and students. Attendees are engaging in keynote addresses, technical sessions, and panel discussions covering topics like smart building technologies, sustainable materials, disaster-resilient structures, and climate-adaptive design practices.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Rajkumar Kacharla emphasized the urgency of integrating sustainability into highrise construction:
“We are not just constructing buildings—we are crafting a sustainable legacy for generations to come. This conference is a vital platform to inspire innovation and collaboration that will shape the resilient cities of tomorrow.”
Mr. Er. Kashiram Adepu highlighted the importance of staying updated with best practices in construction as urban areas continue to grow vertically.

Mr. Er. Bheem Rao Jaligama called the conference a bold step toward sustainable urban development:
