Fitness, Community Spirit Take Centre Stage in Hyderabad
15 June 2025 — The usually bustling premises of Ashoka One Mall transformed into a hub of energy and excitement early Sunday morning, as it played host to the IDL 5K & 10K Run, drawing runners from across the city. Organised by Ashoka Developers and Builders Limited in collaboration with sports partner Decathlon, the event saw an enthusiastic turnout of amateur runners, professional athletes, corporate teams, and fitness aficionados.
The run kicked off from the mall premises and followed a scenic route leading to a nearby lake and back, offering participants a refreshing and picturesque path to test their endurance. The initiative was designed to be inclusive, with multiple categories ensuring that runners of all ages and skill levels could take part.

Mohammad Sharif and Anjali clinched first place in the men’s and women’s 5K run categories respectively, each receiving a pair of Decathlon shoes. Manoj and Sowjanya, who finished second, were awarded Decathlon T-shirts. All participants were treated to refreshments post-run, reinforcing the event’s commitment to holistic wellness.
