The initiative seeks to identify India’s most promising innovators and partner with them to co-create next-generation, sustainable, and smart air conditioning solutions that cater to the unique demands of Indian consumers and climate conditions.
This open innovation challenge presents an unparalleled opportunity for startups to collaborate directly with Blue Star’s R\&D and Product Teams, gain access to top-tier manufacturing and testing infrastructure, and receive guidance from industry veterans and leadership.

- Ultra-Quiet AC Technology
Developing AC solutions that operate at sub-18 dB(A) at low fan speeds, maintaining energy efficiency and affordability. - Eco-Friendly Packaging
Creating biodegradable or reusable packaging alternatives to replace current non-recyclable materials, designed for India’s tough logistics and climate. - Next-Gen Mobile App Interface
Redesigning Blue Star’s app with a focus on predictive control, smart home integration, and real-time energy insights, using an intuitive and user-friendly interface. - Advanced Air Filtration
Innovating filters that perform optimally in dusty, humid, and polluted Indian environments, with minimal energy consumption impact. - Universal Inverter Controller
Creating retrofit solutions that convert conventional AC units into inverter-controlled systems, helping reduce e-waste and extend product life.
