Mumbai to Celebrate Entrepreneurial Excellence at TiEcon 2025 ‘Hall of Fame’ Awards

Mumbai, March 07, 2025: The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) Mumbai is gearing up to honour outstanding contributors to entrepreneurship, investment, and innovation with its prestigious “Hall of Fame Awards.” The awards, a highlight of TiEcon 2025, will recognize visionaries across various categories, including pioneering investors, transformative startups, and resilient companies shaping India’s economic landscape. The event is scheduled for March 12, 2025 and it will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai—India’s largest and most advanced conference venue. The awards aim to celebrate individuals and institutions driving innovation, economic growth, and social progress, spotlighting their role in strengthening India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. With Chief Guest N. R. Narayana Murthy, founder of Infosys, in attendance, the ceremony will feature a gala recognition of high achievers nominated from across the startup ecosystem.

Ranu Vohra, President of TiE Mumbai, emphasized the significance of the event, stating, “Entrepreneurship is the backbone of India’s economic growth, and it is essential to celebrate the pioneers who are driving meaningful change.” The awards will span diverse categories such as ‘Pioneering Unicorn Investor,’ ‘Transformative AI Startup in Customer Service,’ and ‘Resilient Turnaround Company,’ among others. Apoorva Sharma, President Elect of TiE Mumbai and Co-Founder of Venture Catalysts & 9Unicorns, added, this is a tribute to trailblazers who redefine industries and inspire future generations.

TiE Mumbai has teamed up with My Startup TV for the event to highlight startups, their enablers, and entrepreneurs.

Nominations are now open, inviting the ecosystem to recognize those who have made exceptional contributions to India’s startup and investment landscape.

Founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley, TiE has grown into a global network with 11,000 members across 60 chapters in 17 countries, dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship through mentorship, networking, education, funding, and incubation. TiEcon 2025 promises to be a landmark celebration of innovation and resilience, cementing Mumbai’s position as a hub for technology and entrepreneurship.
