Mumbai-based quick commerce startup Snabbit has secured $5.5 million in its Series A funding round, led by Elevation Capital. The round also saw participation from existing investor Nexus Venture Partners and a host of angel investors, including Meesho’s Vidit Aatrey, Unacademy’s Gaurav Munjal, and Niraj Singh of Spinny. The funding will enable Snabbit to expand its hyperlocal home service offerings across more neighborhoods in Mumbai and support key team hires.
Founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, Snabbit provides quick, 15-minute home services in categories like home cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and kitchen preparations. Agarwal, who previously worked at Zepto for two years, saw a gap in the market for quick, affordable, and convenient home services—similar to how cabs, food, and grocery services had already found success in the on-demand sector.
“We realized that there is a large market for high-frequency, everyday home services, unlike the more professional, once-in-a-year service models that currently dominate the space,” Agarwal explained in a conversation with YourStory. This insight led to the creation of Snabbit, which aims to deliver fast, reliable home services at an affordable price.
Snabbit’s business model is hyperlocal, ensuring that technicians are available within 15 minutes of a service request. The startup takes a full-stack approach to quality control by selecting, training, and deploying technicians after conducting rigorous screening processes that cover technical, behavioral, and social skills. To maintain service uniformity, Snabbit also conducts outreach programs in low-income households, ensuring their partners are thoroughly trained.
One of the standout features of Snabbit’s platform is its commitment to providing partners with a minimum guaranteed income. Regardless of the number of service requests they receive, partners are assured of a baseline payout. This incentive structure allows partners to earn more based on attendance, ratings, and the volume of jobs they take on. Snabbit currently partners with over 100 technicians and offers them a structured rate card.
Commenting on Snabbit’s potential, Manish Advani, Vice President at Elevation Capital, said, “Snabbit’s platform, which provides quick, on-demand, and affordable home services through a hyperlocal network of professionals, is a game-changer. Leveraging a unique model to deliver reliable and high-quality services swiftly, they stand out in the home services sector.”
With this funding, Snabbit plans to strengthen its presence in Mumbai and scale its operations, providing a much-needed solution to the growing demand for everyday home services in urban areas.
As the quick commerce sector continues to grow, Snabbit is well-positioned to lead the charge in revolutionizing home services, bringing convenience, affordability, and quality to customers in record time.
