Hyderabad: The 16th edition of ISBACON 2024, jointly organized by the Indian STEPs and Business Incubators Association (ISBA) and the Atal Incubation Centre – Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (AIC-CCMB) at CSIR – CCMB, concluded successfully on October 19. The event, held over three days, attracted over 200 delegates from various incubation centers, government, academia, and industry, both local and international.
The conference kicked off with a pre-conference workshop on October 17, co-led by ISBACON and T-Hub, setting the stage for in-depth discussions on India’s startup ecosystem. The event featured insightful panels, fireside chats, and keynote addresses focused on fostering innovation and collaboration among startups and incubators.
A key highlight of the event was the presence of Sri KT Rama Rao, former IT Minister, Government of Telangana, who attended as Chief Guest on the final day. In his keynote address, KTR emphasized the critical role of innovation and initiative in the world of startups. “In the world of startups, taking initiation is celebrated,” he said. “Seeing is the first step towards creating something groundbreaking. The shift in perception shows that initiative is no longer a word to shy away from.” He also called for increased collaboration between capitalists, young startups, and incubators to accelerate growth in India’s startup landscape.
The third day of the conference featured several impactful sessions, including discussions on “Leveraging Corporate-Incubator Synergies” and “International Linkages for Indian Incubators and Startups,” which provided valuable insights into the future of Indian entrepreneurship.
ISBACON 2024 concluded on a high note, serving as a crucial platform for incubators, industry leaders, and innovators to share ideas, network, and explore partnerships that will shape the future of India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
