Bengaluru-based tech giant Infosys has announced a strategic partnership with Munich-based e-commerce company zooplus to bolster its service capabilities and scalability. As part of this collaboration, Infosys will establish a state-of-the-art Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India.
The partnership will see zooplus utilizing Infosys Topaz, a cutting-edge AI-first offering powered by generative AI technologies. This strategic move aims to accelerate AI innovation, transform e-commerce capabilities, and optimize operational efficiency for the European company.
Key areas of focus in the collaboration include enhancing zooplus’ marketing, e-commerce, and supply chain capabilities. Infosys will provide expertise in areas such as product management, technology, quality, design, and engineering. Additionally, the partnership will involve the development of a new order management system.
The GCC in Hyderabad will serve as a pivotal hub for transforming zooplus’ customer experience. By leveraging Infosys’ data-driven excellence and innovative capabilities, the GCC will significantly enhance zooplus’ technology and value chain capabilities.
