Hyderabad-based artificial intelligence (AI) startup CoRover, the creator of the Indian language chatbot BharatGPT, has raised $4 Mn (around INR 33.4 Cr) in a Series A funding round led by Venture Catalysts. The company plans to use the funds to further develop its large language model (LLM)-based conversational AI chatbots, expand its team of AI experts, and accelerate its go-to-market strategy.
CoRover has been profitable for the last three years, maintaining a consistent profit margin. The company’s BharatGPT chatbot is trained on a massive dataset of Indian language text and code, and is able to generate human-quality text in Hindi, English, and other Indian languages.
The company’s chatbots are used by businesses in a variety of industries, including customer service, marketing, and sales. CoRover’s chatbots can be integrated into existing systems or used as standalone products.
The company’s latest funding round is a validation of its technology and business model. With the additional funding, CoRover is well-positioned to become a leader in the Indian LLM market.
