South Indian cinema’s celebrated actress, Nayanthara, and acclaimed director Vignesh Shivan have joined the platform’s journey, strengthening its vision to revolutionize event discovery and management.
Ticket9, currently focused on live events, helps attendees discover personalized events near them. The platform also plans to expand into movie ticketing, offering users an even broader selection of entertainment options. With a new investment round, the company intends to develop its technological infrastructure further and expand its market reach across India.

To date, Ticket9 has raised around $200,000 in a pre-seed round, backed by a group of notable investors, including Prabhu Rangarajan, co-founder of M2P, Vijay Pravin Maharajan and Ashok Vardharajan, founder and CTO of bitsCrunch respectively, and Mohan K and Jaikumar, founder and CTO of Ippopay. With this latest boost, Ticket9 aims to scale its operations and continue empowering event organizers with its comprehensive SaaS platform.
