Porter, an on-demand logistics platform, has joined the Indian government-backed ONDC Network to enhance hyperlocal deliveries. With a fleet of over 7.5 lakh drivers across 22+ cities, Porter will now provide two-wheeler delivery services in 20 cities. This move follows a significant revenue increase of 55.87% for FY24. Abhinav Vadrevu, VP at Porter, highlighted the company’s goal to meet growing demand and expand logistics solutions in tier-2 and emerging markets through ONDC’s platform.
The ONDC Network is rapidly expanding, with significant growth in same-day hyperlocal deliveries. Currently, the Open Network processes approximately 53,000 orders per day across various categories, including food and grocery.
To support this growth and boost efficiency in the Food & Beverage sector, Porter will provide its two-wheeler services in 20 cities across India, optimizing delivery speed and reliability.
