ISF Hosts Investor Connect Workshop, Unveils Plans for ISF 2024

Hyderabad: The International Start-up Foundation (ISF), unveiled the 3rd edition of its annual flagship event at the Investor Connect Workshop held on Tuesday in T-hub. The not-for-profit organization, which is committed to nurturing the global start-up ecosystem, will host International Startup Festival 2024(ISF2024) from 26-28 September at the Engineering Staff College of India(ESCI), Gachibowli.

The theme for ISF 2024, “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Age of AI,” reflects the growing importance of artificial intelligence in driving innovation across various sectors. The festival will focus on key industries such as Healthcare, Education, Agritech, Food Technology, Fintech, and Rural Innovation. The objective is to highlight the transformative potential of AI and to explore how startups can leverage this technology to address some of the most pressing challenges in these sectors.

At the curtain raiser event, Dr. J.A. Chowdary, a key architect of the Indian Tech Industry and Convenor of ISF, spoke about the significance of the festival, emphasizing its role in fostering collaboration and innovation within the global startup community. He added saying, “The International Startup Festival is designed to complement the global startup ecosystem, promoting collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth,”.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with International Startups Network (ISN), a global incubation platform designed to house and support startups from around the world. According to Dr. Siva Mahesh Tangutooru, Director at ISF Network, ISF 2024 is expected to see participation from over 50,000 startups from India, USA, and other countries. Dr. Tangutooru added saying ,“The top 100 startups will be selected as finalists, offering them an exclusive opportunity to pitch on stage and secure funding. This announcement has generated significant excitement within the startup community, with many entrepreneurs eager to participate in the event and showcase their innovations on a global stage”. The workshop attracted a significant number of registered startups, providing them with an invaluable opportunity to gain insights from seasoned experts on how to fast-track their fundraising efforts.

The event was designed to help startups navigate the complex landscape of venture capital and investment, offering them strategic advice on securing the funding necessary to scale their operations.
