Hyderabad, India – July 12, 2024—The city of Hyderabad today inaugurated the exciting two-day event “Make-It! @ Metro,” organised by T-Works in collaboration with L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad and Hyderabad Metro Rail. The event will take place on July 12 and 13 from 9 AM to 9 PM at the MGBS Metro Station.
The event, themed “Moving Hyderabad Forward,” aims to inspire creativity and innovation among the city’s residents by showcasing various aspects of making and building. The initiative encourages participants to explore and engage with the world of making, guided by the event’s mascot, the “Protosaur.”
Mr Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary of Information Technology Electronics & Communication (ITE&C & Industries & Commerce Department), Telangana’s government, praised the Make-It! @ Metro event for its efforts to make innovation and resources accessible to everyone, not just the highly educated elite. He highlighted the importance of bridging the gap and ensuring that common people can also benefit from such initiatives, commending the metro authorities for their commendable efforts.
Visitors can expect a wide range of activities and workshops designed to foster hands-on learning and creativity. Mr Tanikella Bharani, a renowned Actor and director, graced the occasion and highlighted the importance of bringing the community closer through maker culture.
With 110 diverse programs, including figure painting and BHP activities, the event offers a wealth of opportunities for participants to engage, learn new skills, and find job inspiration. Mr Jayesh expressed hope for more such inclusive events in the future, fostering greater participation and benefiting the wider community.
