The International Startup Foundation (ISF) is leading an Indian and American delegation of startup founders, entrepreneurs, investors, and enablers to a two-day Global CXO Summit and Investor Connect event in Montego Bay, Jamaica, on June 6 and 7, 2024. The event is jointly hosted by the International Startup Foundation(ISF), the Quality Engineering Foundation(QEF), and the Jamaican government; this event aims to foster international business collaborations and investment opportunities.
Event Highlights:
The summit will commence with a day-long conference at the Bioprist Institute of Medical Science (BIMS), followed by industrial visits across the Montego Bay area on the second day. The event promises to be an epicentre of innovation and entrepreneurial exchange, drawing participants from various sectors.
At a preliminary dinner hosted by ISF, Ms Shullette Cox, President of JamPro (a business enabler in Jamaica), briefed the visiting delegation on numerous business and investment opportunities available in Jamaica. Dr. J A Chowdary, Chairman and Founder of ISF, introduced the delegation to Ms Cox and shared insights on potential business ventures that the visiting members could explore. Sri Atluri, MD and Global Head of Enterprise Quality, discussed the vision of leveraging skilled development and upskilling for the local youth.
Keynote Speakers and Panel Discussions:
The conference on June 6 will feature prominent speakers, including Dr. Guna Muppuri, Founder, President, and CEO of Bioprist and Indies Group, and HC Hall, the High Commissioner of Jamaica to India. The event will also host a series of keynote addresses and panel discussions to explore business opportunities and foster collaborations between India and Jamaica.
ISF’s International Tour:
Under the leadership of J A Chowdary, ISF is on a three-week international startup tour. The first leg of this tour included CXO summits and industrial visits across multiple cities in the United States, such as Houston, Brownsville, New York, and New Jersey. These events are building up to the annual ISF event scheduled for September 27-28, 2024, at the Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) in Hyderabad, India. This conference is expected to be a focal point for groundbreaking ideas and transformative strategies, bringing together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and policymakers.
