SecurWeave secures Rs 2.6 cr seed funding

SecurWeave, a cybersecurity startup specializing in combatting advanced malware attacks, has successfully secured Rs 2.8 crore in seed funding. This funding round was spearheaded by the Indian Angel Network (IAN) and featured key investors such as Romesh Sobti, Uday Chatterjee, Nagendra P Bandaru, and Prakash. The company has already showcased its cybersecurity prowess in both the private and defense sectors within India and is now poised for global expansion. With this funding injection, SecurWeave aims to further advance and deploy its cybersecurity solutions.

Dr. Prem Chand, CEO, and co-founder of SecurWeave, expressed gratitude for the strategic backing, emphasizing its significance in pushing the boundaries of cybersecurity innovation. SecurWeave operates from various workspaces, including IITMIC, IITM Pravartak Technology Innovation Hub, NCoE, DSCI in Noida, and NCR. Notably, SecurWeave is pioneering technology capable of detecting advanced malware, offering a versatile solution suitable for both civil and military applications. Padmaja Ruparel, co-founder of IAN, lauded SecurWeave’s strategy and team, expressing optimism about the startup’s potential within the cybersecurity sector.
