Showcased vibrant sessions and hinted at collaborations
On 11th August 2023, Day 2 of the India Startup Festival was in full swing. It began with an energetic opening ceremony, setting a positive tone. A major highlight was the signing of seven MOUs, partnerships that promise future collaborations. Notably, agreements were made with significant players like STPI, BrAndhill, CCMB, My Startup TV, and especially the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The morning was packed with insightful talks. Mr. Arvind Kumar enlightened the audience about tech policies in India. Barry A Rudolph showcased the journey of FalconStor Software, while Karena Belin brought insights from Hong Kong’s startup environment. Dr. Kazuhiro Chiba combined academia with practical business insights, and Sri Attluri of BNY Mellon touched on the blend of quality assurance in business.
The evening continued the momentum. Dr. Nageswara Reddy focused on healthcare innovations, Galla Ramachandra Naidu discussed the rise of the Amara Raja Group, Dr. Raja Mohan Rao dove into telecom advancements, and Vineet Rai highlighted socially-driven businesses.
Sadguru, a key speaker, emphasized rural innovations throughout the day. His focus on finding solutions for grassroots challenges resonated with many.
In between these sessions, attendees had the chance to network. This facilitated the exchange of ideas and potential future collaborations. The day wrapped up with the Lifetime Achievement Awards, recognizing pioneers in the industry, followed by a relaxing dinner.
