Hyderabad, 29th June 2023 – The India Start-up Foundation (ISF), a leading non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the growth and development of the Indian start-up ecosystem, has announced the highly anticipated India Start-Up Festival (ISF) 2023. Scheduled to take place from 10th to 12th August 2023 in Muddanahalli, Bengaluru, the festival aims to provide a unique platform for start-up founders to connect, collaborate, and celebrate.

As a curtain-raiser to the festival, ISF organized an Investor Connect Workshop at T-Hub, Hyderabad, with an overwhelming response from over 1000 registered startups and more than 125 investors and CXOs. During the workshop, startups had the opportunity for one-on-one investor interactions and participation in the Rapid Pitch Zone. Additionally, ISF signed MoUs with key partners such as T-Hub, TiE Hyderabad, HYSEA, and AgHUB to create an ecosystem that fosters the creation, incubation, and mentoring of startups from the region.

The theme of ISF 2023 is “Innovation at the Bottom of the Pyramid,” focusing on sectors such as rural healthcare, education, agritech, food technology, fintech, and rural innovations. The festival aims to address challenges in rural India and create a sustainable ecosystem for entrepreneurs to make significant improvements in society. Over 10,000 startups from various stages of growth will compete in the ISF Startup competition, while more than 500 VCs, angel forums, high-net-worth investors, CXOs, and international delegates will be in attendance. The festival will also feature esteemed speakers and a delegation from international locations.

Mr. JA Chowdary, a Key Architect of the Indian Tech Industry and Chairperson of ISF expressed his vision for the festival as a vibrant hub of entrepreneurial energy and innovation. He emphasized the importance of empowering entrepreneurs and fostering a startup community that can unleash its full potential. The festival will provide an excellent opportunity for founders to network with investors, mentors, and industry leaders.

The India Start-Up Foundation aims to support first-time entrepreneurs, especially from smaller Tier II and Tier III towns, in building and scaling their start-ups. Through progressive events, mentorship, and resources, ISF aims to create an environment where early-stage start-ups can thrive and collaborate.
