T-Hub Partners with JKEDI to Boost Startups in Jammu & Kashmir

Srinagar, July 20T-Hub, a technology incubator based in Hyderabad, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) to bolster the startup ecosystem in the region. The MOU signing event, held at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar, was attended by Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha and officials from both organizations.

In addition to the MOU between T-Hub and JKEDI, several other agreements were signed to enhance support for startups in Jammu & Kashmir. These included partnerships with T-Hub and institutions like IIT Jammu, SKUAST, IUST, and Islamia College of Science and Commerce. These collaborations aim to provide a comprehensive framework of support, encompassing mentorship, networking opportunities, and technological resources to nurture entrepreneurship and innovation in the region.

The event highlighted the significance of strategic collaborations in advancing regional development goals. Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering an enabling environment for startups, emphasizing initiatives aimed at promoting innovation and generating employment opportunities in Jammu & Kashmir.

Director of JKEDI, R.K. Sharma, expressed optimism about the collaborations, noting their potential to empower local entrepreneurs and drive economic growth.

The MOU signing between T-Hub and JKEDI marks a pivotal step in efforts to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Jammu & Kashmir, reinforcing a shared commitment to fostering sustainable economic development through entrepreneurship.
